Oud is ancient. For centuries, it has been one of the most coveted scents in the world — burned in temples, worn by royalty, traded across continents. And yet, most of what's sold as "oud" today is synthetic, diluted, or mass-produced.
Woudya exists because we believe the real thing still matters.
We work directly with a distillation partner in Lombok, Indonesia — one of the world's premier sources of agarwood. Every batch is distilled on-site in small quantities, preserving the full aromatic profile of the wood: the warm, animalic depth, the subtle sweetness, the smoky complexity that no lab can replicate.
There are no middlemen in our supply chain. No blending houses. No corporate fragrance labs. Just trees, a distiller, and the patient art of steam distillation.
